As if Imli, Bailey and all your lovely doggos weren’t enough, we decided to get ourselves a little mascot – meet the Pawthepuppy!
To bring this toy to you, we’ve collaborated with TOMODACHI, run by Meghna Dukle. Their toys are lovingly handmade by a women’s self help group, using repurposed textile surplus to create gentle companions for everyday joy. By choosing mindful materials and community-based making, they aim to create toys that are kind – to the hands that make them, the planet they come from and the hearts that receive them.
The Pawthepuppy is made for dogs by the artisans from the women’s SHG that TOMODACHI works with. We have made it in 100% cotton duck canvas, and this version is suitable for mild to moderate intensity of play. The long dog shape is almost like a bone, so it is easy to hold and carry for your dog. Rooted in community, not factories, each piece is slow made with shared skills, care and love!
