Description

Our Lionsmane Mushroom extract contains pure hot water fruiting body extract of Lionsmane Mushrooms (Hericium erinaceus).

Lionsmane Mushrooms are known for their neuroprotective and cognitive benefits. Hericenones and Erinacines found in these mushrooms can enhance the production of  Nerve Growth Factor (NGF) – a protein that helps neurons grow and survive. These mushrooms are also rich in B vitamins that help keep the nervous system healthy. This makes them a stellar addition to the daily routine of dogs that are slowing down and losing cognitive abilities with age, and those with neurodegenerative disorders.

Lionsmane Mushrooms also provide polysaccharides, which can boost energy, and beta-glucans, which help with immunity. Used mainly for their neurological benefits, they may also help with cardiovascular and gut health.

Lionsmane Mushrooms have been found safe for dogs. Please do not feed your dog unidentified, wild mushrooms – not all of them are safe.

Unsuitable for pregnant or nursing dogs and dogs below 6 months old. Kindly consult a vet before using this for dogs on other long-term medications, or dogs with diabetes, bleeding disorders, compromised immune systems or heart/liver/kidney disease.
