Description

Our GLM (Perna Canaliculus) powder contains 100% New Zealand Green-Lipped Mussels.

Our full-fat New Zealand GLM powder has >9% fat content and is human-grade (GLM powder should have >6% fat content for effective use). GLM contains ETA – eicosatetraenoic acid, which is unique to this organism and acts against inflammation/ pain. It also offers glycosaminoglycans (glucosamine and chondroitin), which form part of the ‘building blocks’ of cartilage and is therefore, suitable for long-term use without the side effects that NSAIDs cause over prolonged use (degenerative changes in cartilage and cause liver and kidney issues).

While GLM products are great for all dogs, we especially recommend using GLM for young dogs with developing joints, dogs with arthritis or other chronic inflammatory issues, and dogs with conditions/ lifestyles where the joints can degenerate quickly.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Although there is no evidence of any side effects of using GLM, even in long-term use, we advise the following: do not use it for dogs with shellfish allergies or nursing/pregnant dogs. Please use under veterinary guidance for dogs on other medications, or under treatment for lung, liver or kidney diseases.
THE DOSE OF THIS PRODUCT IS VARIABLE BEFORE AND AFTER 10 DAYS – PLEASE FOLLOW THE DOSAGE GUIDELINES.
